Lorina (Renee) Cooper was the fourth child, first daughter of eleven children born of James Fountain Cooper and Lucyann Missouri Levins. She was born on November 24, 1886 at Jim and Lucyann's homestead just north of Harold, Florida.

At the age of twenty she ran off with
her first cousin, Floyd Mollie Cooper, to Defuniak Spring, Florida and were married. The family wasn't
pleased with the fact but they were determined to be together so eventually the family grew to accept it.

|
During Lorina's and Floyd's forty two years of marriage they had eight children: Joseph Edward, Cleta Missouri, Margie Beatrice, Earl Lee, Carl Delone, Callie Dora, Lynn Madison, and Floyd Mollie Cooper, Jr.

Lorina's husband, Floyd, passed away in 1948.

|
|
|
|
Lorina passed away twenty years after Floyd's death on October 29, 1968 in Brewton, Alabama.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lorina and Floyd's final resting place is in the Hickory Hammock Cemetery east of Milton, Florida.
|
