The two-day "Cooper Basin" Coopers' Family Reunion started on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the First Baptist Church's "Family Life Center". The second day, Sunday June 27, was held at the Old Cooper Cemetery near Cooper Basin.

There were over 60 family members and a few friends of the family in attendance on Saturday.  Not everyone was present for the group photograph but most had signed the attendance book and the candid photographs, taken by my wife, Nancy, recorded those that weren't in the family group shot. On Sunday, we had 19 family members present at the Old Cooper Cemetery. It started bright and sunny but turned into a flash thunderstorm within half an hour which cut the visit to the Cemetery short. Barney Cooper and I were able to take several good photographs before the weather ran us off.
