The two-day "Cooper Basin" Coopers' Family Reunion started on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at the Milton High School cafeteria and the second day was held at the Old Cooper Cemetery near Cooper Basin.

There were 58 family members, two distant cousins and a few friends of the family in attendance on Saturday. On Sunday, even though it was raining cats and dogs, on and off, we had 18 family members present at the Old Cooper Cemetery.
