Lucyann was born in Coffee County, Alabama on
August 20, 1861. She was one of the children born to James Levins and Indianna Turner Levins.
All that we know at this time was that her father was a farmer.

|
Lucyann married James Fountain (Jim) Cooper in
Santa Rosa County on October 5, 1879. The marriage certificate misspelled her name.
On the document her name was recorded as Lucy Ann L. Evans

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lucyann was Baptized into the RLDS, Mount Olivet branch of
Santa Rosa County on January 15, 1880.
During the 1880 Federal census it shows that Lucyann's mother, Annie Levins, was living with her
and Jim during the census. It recorded that she was fifty years old. We can only assume that
Lucyann's father had died and that is why her mother was living with them.
December 17, 1880 Lucyann and Jim's first child is born, Charles Robinson Cooper.

Lucyann gave birth to their second child,
George Washington Cooper on October 13, 1882 at their homestead in Harold, Florida.

James Urwin Cooper on November 12, 1884 at their homestead in Harold, Florida.

November 11, 1932 and was buried in the new Holt Cemetery in Holt, Florida.

Lucyann dies December 21,1937 in Harold, Florida
and is buried next to her husband in the Holt Cemetery.

Lucyann had light brown hair and bright blue eyes.
Even though she was a very religious person she was also very superstitious.
