On July 18, 1999 I took this photograph of  Joseph during one of my visits with him at his home, in DeFunick, Springs, Florida. We were exchanging genea- logical information and he was telling me stories about his Uncle Frank (Joseph Franklin Cooper) and his wife Ada Ann Brannon Cooper. Ada was his maternal Aunt. He also told me some stories about trips he took with his mother, to visit the Coopers at Cooper Basin.

Much of the information that I have gathered on Uncle Frank came from Joseph's notes and documents.
