Will was born November 3, 1881 in Santa Rosa County, Florida.
He was the third child, only son, of four children. His siblings were: Hettie Caroline Cooper,
Sarah Cooper and Louisa (Liza) Cooper.
He married Viola Amos around 1906 in Santa Rosa County, Florida and they had their first child,
Fred Newman Cooper, on January 23, 1907. Their second child, Cleveland (Cleve) Cooper, was born
in 1910. Hafton Cooper their third child was born on March 16, 1912 and Willie Mae Cooper was born in 1917.
Will was a farmer, like most people in that day, and earned extra income by trading on the side.
Will died on December 20, 1955 in Santa Rosa County and his final resting place is next to his wife
in the Hickory Hammock Cemetery in east Milton, Florida.
